Anything Can Happen Wednesday: Darth Vader Force Choking people at Comic Con

It is a late addition of Anything Can Happen Wednesday.  One of these weeks I won’t be posting anything for Anything Can Happen Wednesday.  You want to know why, because ANYTHING can happen, which means nothing can happen.  But today, I submit to my OCD and I will be posting in the final hours of July 15th.  So take a gander at this as you search through the amazing Amazon.com birthday deals. Me personally? I just got my years’ worth of lint brushes, thank you very much.

Yes. This was one of the amazing deals Amazon busted out for their birthday.

As I searched for every trailer and piece of footage released from last week’s Comic Con in San Diego, I saw this video.  Darth Vader was walking around the convention Force Choking people.  There are two really cool things about this video.  One, the people who are reacting to Vader are complete strangers.  That’s one thing I love about the Geek Culture; people are willing to play.  The second really cool thing is at the very end when Vader meets a Mini Me version of himself.  The result is everything I hope to see when I bring my daughter to her first Con.

About OxenTrot

During the day, I am a mild mannered desk jockey who helps to manage a large IT company.  At night, I am a family man, who is insanely in love with his wife and a proud daddy to an amazing girl.  But in the pre-dawn hours, as most everyone else is still asleep, I am my alter ego.  During that time, I am: OxenTrot. Ox was a call sign bestowed upon me while I was an active duty United States Marine, mainly in tribute to the fact that I was a major gym rat. After 5 years and three tours of duty, I reentered the civilian world.  My call sign was replaced by my actual name but the Ox still lived inside. As I began to adapt to my new life, I also began to take on new adventures, such as starting a family, getting a “big boy” job and taking on endurance sports.
