Throwback Thursday: Help build an 80’s themed office (posters)

My wife and I just remodeled our basement and as we were setting up the furniture I had an idea.  Why don’t we decorate the basement bedroom, our guest room in the house, in an 80s theme?  We could put up posters, hang memorabilia and display old toys from the era.  I thought it was the coolest idea ever.  My wife, rightfully so, shot down the idea and we kept it the very comfortable set up that already looks amazing.  But I couldn’t let the idea go.  Now my new goal is to decorate my office in a very 80s theme.  So, for this Throwback Thursday, I’m asking everyone to think back to the days of Saturday morning cartoons and hair bands and help me decide what goes and what stays.

We start with posters. I think two classic posters should do, but which ones do I choose?  You can select up to two options in the poll.  You can also write in a choice.

Later today we will tackle items for the desk, so be sure to come back and check it out.

About OxenTrot

During the day, I am a mild mannered desk jockey who helps to manage a large IT company.  At night, I am a family man, who is insanely in love with his wife and a proud daddy to an amazing girl.  But in the pre-dawn hours, as most everyone else is still asleep, I am my alter ego.  During that time, I am: OxenTrot. Ox was a call sign bestowed upon me while I was an active duty United States Marine, mainly in tribute to the fact that I was a major gym rat. After 5 years and three tours of duty, I reentered the civilian world.  My call sign was replaced by my actual name but the Ox still lived inside. As I began to adapt to my new life, I also began to take on new adventures, such as starting a family, getting a “big boy” job and taking on endurance sports.
