Anything Can Happen Wednesday: Sherlock Holmes vs Frankenstein

Today’s theme for Anything Can Happen Wednesday is geeky projects.  I’ve scoured crowdfunding sites and found campaigns which you can support, by either sparing a few bucks or just sharing them on social media.

If you want a sure thing, then you can find it at our next project on Anything Can Happen Wednesday (Geeky Crowdfunding Edition).  If you like things that are guaranteed then this is a campaign for you because it already met its initial funding requirement.

I’m talking about Sherlock Holmes vs Frankenstein.

HolmesVFrankenstein

This is a feature film where “…two icons clash in this sophisticated gothic mystery.” “The greatest detective of all time meets the greatest danger of all time, and has to solve the mystery of life itself.”

The perks are crazy for this one, from mugs and posters, to exclusive footage, to BODY PARTS USED ON THE SET.  They have also been posting limited edition perks.  Today it’s “Sherlock’s cocaine box, along with a few body parts & lab notes, and the full package (exclusive scenes + poster + lobby cards + t-shirt + mug + script).”  There’s only one, so I’m assuming that once it goes they will add another limited edition perk.

So go and check it out, at least for all the cool pics and videos they have on the site.  And still consider providing a few bucks or promoting it on social media.  Just because they met their initial funding requirement doesn’t mean they are done.  The more they raise the more they can do to make this film amazing.

About OxenTrot

During the day, I am a mild mannered desk jockey who helps to manage a large IT company.  At night, I am a family man, who is insanely in love with his wife and a proud daddy to an amazing girl.  But in the pre-dawn hours, as most everyone else is still asleep, I am my alter ego.  During that time, I am: OxenTrot. Ox was a call sign bestowed upon me while I was an active duty United States Marine, mainly in tribute to the fact that I was a major gym rat. After 5 years and three tours of duty, I reentered the civilian world.  My call sign was replaced by my actual name but the Ox still lived inside. As I began to adapt to my new life, I also began to take on new adventures, such as starting a family, getting a “big boy” job and taking on endurance sports.
