Week Six = The one that did not exist (or the one with the challenge.)
This week was meant to have my very good friend Chris on to discuss his race at the New Jersey Marathon and his life as a runner. Unfortunately I did not set up the audio correctly and nothing that Chris said was recorded properly. It wasn’t a complete loss because I did get to have a great 2 hour conversation with a dear friend. He and I have talked and we will figure things out and give it another shot in the near future. Maybe, this time, the guy who is an actual professional in the world of radio and voice work should do the recording.
I was able to piece together a few different segments for this week. I discuss the impression I have of running in Europe compared to the states and put out a call to all for any ideas on new running PRs which I can track for upcoming events. I was also able to take a segment with my conversation with Chris where I discuss my port-a-john technique for road races.
For those of you who are new, I do record these installments during my commute to work. So I apologize for all the background noise and distractions you will hear. Turn signals. Honking horns. My inability to pronounce words correctly. I leave most warts and all untouched.
As always, I want to give credit to the music in this podcast:
